Bailey

Temi Bailey is a new METCO co-director in Swampscott after stepping in as an interim director in 2024. He has been working in Swampscott schools since 2019, beginning as the METCO tutor. He was an academic coordinator, girls JV volleyball coach, boys JV basketball coach, and advisor for two affinity groups at SHS: Room of Color (R.O.C) and Students of Color Association (S.O.C.A).

Mr. Bailey comes from Springfield where he entered the METCO lottery multiple years himself but was unable to get in. He graduated from West Springfield high school and went on to Salem State where he played basketball all fpir years and graduated with a Bachelors in Biomed with a double minor in chemistry and psychology.
