Leslie has been the METCO Director for Sudbury Public Schools since 2022. She was also the Assistant METCO Director and Middle School Coordinator for Needham Public Schools for over 15 years, and an English teacher at Boston’s exam school Boston Latin Academy. Leslie is currently a Special Education Surrogate Parent Volunteer, as well as having a background in working for Framingham Public Schools’ McKinney Vento Program for students and families who are in non-permanent housing. She is a facilitator/consultant for IDEAS (under the umbrella of MASSUPT) and holds a BA in English & Education from Emmanuel College and a MA in English from Umass Boston.
