Jackson
Amy Jackson currently serves as the METCO Director for Hingham Public Schools. Prior to this role, she served as the METCO Director for Melrose Public Schools beginning in 2019, where her work was centered on building strong, trusting relationships with METCO students and families from the Boston area while supporting students’ academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. Ms. Jackson is deeply committed to collaboration among parents, students, and school communities. Her work has included coordinating academic remediation, providing tutoring support for students in need, college and career readiness, and advocating to ensure equitable access to resources and opportunities. Her prior professional roles include serving as Director of Family and Community Engagement in Randolph, METCO Academic Advisor in Brookline, and Family and Community Outreach Coordinator in Boston. Ms. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Cambridge College and a Master of Education with a concentration in Psychological Studies, also from Cambridge College.
