J. Malcolm Cawthorne is the first of five Cawthornes to graduate from Brookline High School. He has been a teacher since 1993 and began teaching at Brookline High School in 1998. Most of his career in Brookline has been as a Social Studies Teacher. He began his METCO journey as student making life-long friends with other METCO students, his father was a METCO Director in Scituate in the 1980s and he joined the METCO family in 2019 as the BHS METCO Coordinator. This is his second year as the METCO Director for the Public Schools of Brookline.
